Dr Bhisham Singh

Dr Bhisham Singh is a triple-board certified spine surgeon with extensive experience working across
Australia, the United Kingdom and India. He has been working as a specialist adult spine surgeon for
10+ years and has developed significant expertise in orthopaedic spine surgery.

Dr Singh completed his medical degree at the University of Mumbai in 1996, and achieved specialist board certification (DNB) in 2000 as an orthopaedic surgeon. Dr Singh then undertook sub-specialised training in paediatric orthopaedics and spine surgery before moving to the United Kingdom, where he successfully achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Eng) in 2009 and commenced working as a spine surgeon across the UK. Dr Singh and his family moved to Sydney in 2011 where he completed two prestigious year-long AOA - accredited spine surgery Fellowships in both paediatric and adult spinal surgery, which involved working as a spine surgeon across many busy NSW public hospitals covering the spine surgery roster. He qualified as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2015. Dr Singh’s philosophy is that all treatment should be in the patient’s best interest and be based on the latest scientific evidence. He takes a
conservative approach to spine surgery and treatment options.
Dr Singh is fluent in both English and Urdu.
